    I bought a Groupon for Remote Start and Installation. It took me multiple phone calls to get through to Mobileworks and set up an appointment. I was told that because of the push start on my vehicle, my remote start would cost an extra $100, which was not mentioned on Groupon, but I agreed to. The initial installation went smoothly. However, roughly six months later my vehicle stopped running in a parking lot with no warning. I didn’t know what was wrong so I had my vehicle towed to a Toyota dealership. I was told the electric system had failed and the after market remote start had malfunctioned and was removed. I don’t know a lot about cars, but I find it hard to believe my 2012 Toyota’s electrical system had failed if not for the remote start. $500 later, I called Mobileworks to mention this issue as I believe a remote start should last longer than 6 months. They immediately blamed the dealership and said that if I had brought my vehicle back to Mobileworks, they would have been able to fix it. Grudgingly, he offered to replace the remote start at a later date but made no offer to reimburse for the electric system repair. After making the appointment to set up the replacement and dropping off my vehicle, I received a phone call that the replacement would actually be $100 because an additional part would need to be ordered. At this point I was frustrated at his lack of up front communication and was somewhat afraid that after another $100 I would be back in the same position so I declined the replacement and will NEVER be going back for any services from Mobileworks. At the end of the day, the failure may not have been Mobileworks fault but the lack of good customer service I received was enough to turn me away forever.
