  Poor customer service! Ordered a small engine online because I had a $20 coupon 4 days after I ordered it no email on status. Stopped in to the store that it was going to be delivered to they told me it would be another week at least. I asked if they had one in stock, told me they did but couldn't give it to me. I called to cancel my order so I could just get the one in the store told me they couldn't cancel it until I received it and then would have to return it. Not happy with how the store and the online store work together probably won't be taking my business back to northern tool.

  Paid over $700 for a mig welder. Used it once on a 3" pipe weld, after that it wouldn't feed wire. Called the manufacturer, went thru their trouble shooting process, was told to return it for exchange. Drove 100 miles one way for them to refuse to exchange the welder or stand behind any parts because the receipt wasn't in hand, had the northern tool sku as well as date of purchase on computer, but no paper receipt so evidently no need to stand behind a product. Would be one thing if it was a $10 wrench, but a $700 welder?? Come on guys, the package has all of your identifying information as well as confirmation of purchase from your store within the warranty period, what gives???

  Refused me an online offer for $25 gift card with my purchase. Online customer service was a joke. They wouldn't give me the gift card, gave me a hassle when I asked to return the $230 saw, and on top of it all - I couldn't log back into my northern tool account after emailing them. Website is just broken, or they blocked my account. Online customer service is now unresponsive to my emails. Glad that Harbor Freight is coming to town in a few days. Will never, ever, buy from NT again. Left a complaint with the BBB for false advertising. What a joke.
